Who am I? I am a stay-at-home mom with a teacher's heart. I've had several callings in my life so far: high school athlete, children's minister, wife, first grade teacher, and mommy.
I've been married to the most awesome guy on the planet for the past ten years. He was my college sweetheart at Texas A&M University. He teaches Sunday School at our church, leads a small group at the youth group, and is a software engineer and software architect. He's the best Daddy in the world, and I fall in love with him more and more each day.
I'm the mom of the most amazing, energetic, curious two year old boy with a sweet heart of gold. He keeps me on my toes, and I cannot imagine my life without him. I live with my husband, my son, and our dog Sadie in Texas. I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, playing board games, hanging out with friends and family, playing sports, watching Texas Rangers baseball, making digital photo books, blogging, and cooking. We are active in our church, and my faith in Christ is everything to me. It shapes every part of my life.
I'm a girl with small town roots living in the city. I grew up in a loving home in a small southeast Texas town with great parents who taught me what is important in life. When I graduated high school, I spread my wings and ventured off to Aggieland, where I earned my degree in psychology. From there, I went to seminary at Brite Divinity School at TCU, where I earned my masters degree with a specialization in pastoral care and counseling. The next year I earned my teaching certification and started teaching amazing kiddos in the public school system, a few years later had my son, and the rest is history.
